I believe that the Bible is the written Word of God and is perfect, inerrant and complete in its original manuscripts. It was written by men inspired by God and contains the guidelines for faith and for life of all people. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Matthew 5:18)

I believe that in one triune God. He exists in three persons, the Father, the Son – Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. All three persons are equal, everlasting and perfect in every way.  I believe God is all-powerful, all-knowing and all-present. (Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 Timothy 1:17, Revelation 4:8, Acts 17:24, Hebrews 4:13)

I believe man is a creation of God. Adam was the first man and was created in the image of God and was sinless. Due to his disobedience of God in the Garden of Eden, his communion and relationship with God was broken and he plummeted into a fallen nature. This nature was passed to all following generations.  All men are sinners in conduct and nature and are under condemnation by God. Man is completely unable to remedy his fallen state. (Genesis 1:26-27, 3:6-8 & 10-18, 6:5, Romans 3:23, 5:12-19, 6:23, Titus 1:15, Jeremiah 17:9)

I believe Jesus Christ is God and that he was fully God and fully man. He was not created by God, but was equal to him in power, eternality and perfection. God sent Jesus to be the mediator and redeemer of man’s fallen condition. Jesus was born of a virgin Mary and lived a perfect, sinless life. He was crucified at the hands of sinful men as a substitute for sinful men. His death accomplished our redemption completely, and it was assured by his bodily resurrection from the tomb three days later. He is now ascended to heaven and is sitting at the right hand of God where he acts as our mediator. He will one day return to judge the living and the dead. (Mark 16:19, Luke 1:35, John 1:1-4, 14, Acts 1:11, Romans 3:24, 5:19, 6:9, 1 Corinthians 15:3-5, Galatians 4:4-5, Philippians 2:5-11, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Timothy 2:4)

I believe salvation was made possible through the death of Jesus Christ as a substitute. It is a gift of God through faith in Christ. It cannot be earned by good deeds or any other means other than Christ. (John 1:12, 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-10, 1 Peter, 1:18-19)

I believe the Holy Spirit is the third member of the Godhead and is equal to God the Father and God the son in power, eternality and perfection. His role is to convict man of sin, indwell all believers, sealing, guiding, teaching and sanctification. He empowers believers with spiritual gifts and aids them in their service to the body of Christ. (John 16:8-11, Romans 8:9, 12:4-8, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 2 Corinthians 3:6, Ephesians 5:18)

I believe the church is the bride and body of Christ. It is made up of all born again believers and is a spiritual organism. The church is to continue in growth and outreach until the day of Christ’s return. It should be kept free of external authority. It is for the building up of the believer and reaching the lost with the gospel. It is to practice the ordinances of the Lord’s supper and baptism of believers. (Matthew 16:18, 28:19-20, Acts 14:1-4, 14:27,  15:19-31, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, 12:12-14, 2 Corinthians 11:2, Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:25-27, 1 Timothy 3:1-3, 1 Peter 5:1-4)

I believe in the physical bodily return of Christ to earth and the rapture of the church before the establishment of Christ’s kingdom on earth. After this period, all men will be judged at the Great White throne and will be sent to the eternal destinations of heaven or hell. (John 3:16-18, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Titus 2:13, Revelation 20:7-15)
